Unethical finance manager

Its simple, Garrett the finance manager made a deal, we drove away with the car. A week later asks us to come back to sign a new contract due to the rate being lowered. Caught him increasing the price of the car $1500, he plays it off as a good catch, *** Then he sneaks in some Zactec which was never used on the car so its the same as buying air (remember this is a week later, we can't drop the car off the same way they can't change the price) now a legit business you dont have to worry about this. Pinnacle Nissan isn't a Legit business. Want my advice 1. DONT GO THERE, 2. If you have no choice finance with your credit union or bank don't let this guy near anything, 3. Buy nothing from finance (you can get your own warranty, go to any other Nissan dealer and ask to buy a warranty, GAP insurance ect just DONT do it at pinnacle). They will rip you off, even if you say No he will slip it in and give you a contract without it. As I said UNETHICAL. Im shocked they are still in business. You have been warned!!! How can a car finance amount change a week later when you don’t buy any additional products? It cant!!! That’s stealing

User's recommendation: Don’t go to Pinnacle Nissan, If you must finance through your own bank or credit Union. Avoid finance!!!!

Violations of rights

Since the pandemic I have happily worn the required mask and distancing but now that large mass riots are encouraged by our governor and the proof of the violations she did during the quarantine. Now that we understand this corona was a distraction and labeled a hr most dangerous even though the rate of recovery is .003%, if my governor can tell rioters and protestors to gather largely to show their power than its proven I dont need a mask. Even my 4 yr old who suffers from many things impact his breathing. And to stay in the car with two boys and risk resting $200 on glasses they cant even directly measure in a car is absurd. Lifts may be banned but businesses e now are too power hungry and if you explain health reasons they leave in parking lot. Sickening

User's recommendation: Never due to their lack of common sense and infringing on my children and i’s freedoms.

Would use them for a great deal

I talked them down on a used car sale from 40,000 to 28,000 nissan 370Z. Car had few minor defects and they fixed them only 6,000 miles saphire blue touring and they put black rims on it for free! Service center is great although one service center employee sold me used tires he said were almost brand new. They were worn out in 6 months. He was fired but not from anything I said. In general they are vigorous salesmen but seem honest. The service center does a good job but I believe not knowing anything about car repair has cost me. Just an opinion not a statement of fact.

"Typical Promises Then "Go Away" When Papers Are Signed"

The following is a letter I wrote to the the General Sales Manager His canned response elicited my publishing the following letter. I thought I would comment on the sales experience I had with your company. First off, let me state that this experience places Pinnacle Nissan well above another major dealership I detest as a company to be avoided in the future. For the first time in 48 years, I purchased a used vehicle as my primary vehicle. My wife convinced me to try and avoid the large depreciation just driving off the lot we always experience with new cars. We stopped at the tent sale in Peoria at the end of April and I ended up purchasing vehicle from your sales people. For the most part all went well and we were treated politely and fairly professionally. A lot of things were promised such as they would make sure my phones were paired and I would be given an overview of the vehicle systems. The actual statement was “we will do whatever it takes to get you to buy a vehicle”. I would also receive a copy of the Car Fax. But once the paperwork was signed then the good old fashioned car dealership arose and in effect became “paperwork is done, go away”! We went out to both my old and new vehicles, I removed what little was still in my trade, and that was that. I also discovered at this point there was only one key fob. When I went back in and asked about the key fob and Car Fax, I was told they would check on the fob and get back to me (never happened). I could get the Car Fax when I had the vehicle detailed. I later paired my phones and learned about the vehicle through the owner's manual and You Tube. I would add that my vehicle was better equipped than the one you sold me. I traded the CRV because I disliked many things about the way it operated. I called it a “nanny car”. I didn’t trade it because of any identifiable malfunctions. I gave you two key fobs. I gave you a full tank of gas minus 30 miles, you gave me less than a quarter of a tank. The Michelin tires on my trade had maybe 200 miles on them. To be fair your people increased my trade in value to make up for me having to buy new tires in the near future. I gave you the cargo mat and cargo area retractable cover when I came in for detailing. When I did bring the vehicle in for detailing, I told the gentleman who greeted me that I was disappointed by my experience so far. He stated that they would see what they could do to make me happier about the situation. He even stated they would top off the vehicle with gas if he could....that never happened. We had rain on Monday and I discovered that all three wiper blades were bad. I had already ordered and paid for replacement wiper blades by the time I came into your store. I will say here that the wiper blades may have been replaced after my comments. I'll know for certain after the next rain. In the meantime the blades I ordered are in the vehicle just in case. I also found that the back window leaked when the rear window washer system was used. The cabin filter was dirty and the car smelled like gym socks on that rainy day so I had to replace the cabin filter. I asked again about seeing if the second key fob could be located. I was told once again that a phone call would be made and they would let me know. I'm still waiting for the call that isn't coming. By the way I have already purchased another fob. Oh, let us not forget the Car Fax that I didn't receive, another $40. As far as the back window leak was concerned, your people said they or I could take it to Hyundai to have it fixed under warranty. xxxx you know that isn't going to occur without an appointment, so I left and I will deal with it. Maybe I expected too much when purchasing a used vehicle from a major dealership. I really didn't expect to spend an additional $300+ to put it in what I consider a road worthy state, key fob, wiper blades, Car Fax report, and cabin filter. It wasn't like I went to "Crooked Sam's Used Cars" where I would expect to get the "shuffle"! I will not go out my way to denigrate your dealership, but, I will not recommend you either. I am still contemplating a review on your website...I'll decide that in the next couple of days. Needless to say I will not bother to deal with your people again.

False promise on complimentary 2nd oil change

I bought a 2017 Nissan Rogue SV at Pinnacle Nissan, Scottsdale. At the time of negotiation talks the guy named Terry promised me two complimentary oil changes, but they didn't give me anything in writing, and now he was saying he only promised one oil change. These Pinnacle Nissan guys are cheaters and i don't recommend this to anybody.

Dropped the ball

purchased a $58,000 Titan and realized after about a week that a trim piece was missing from the inside door handle. I stopped by the service center to report it missing and get a new one. The parts guy scanned my VIN number and said he would order it and they would contact me. Around a month later, I called and the parts guy was not available but they would leave him a message. Now weeks later I called and was transferred to a really nice lady who was very helpful eventhough she couldn't help me. Now I am supposed to come into the dealership to order the part again. I don't have time for this, nor do I trust this will get resolved this time. I truly cannot recommended this dealership due to lack of customer service in the service and parts departments.

Not happy at all

Back in November last year I was told I could trade in my versa and get into a newer car with lower payments and lower interest rate. When I went in none of that happened I got a lower interest but payments were more. But today I had a appointment to get my first of 3 free service and I went to cutler Nissan. He was going to charge me. So My frustration here is why in the *** did an employee at pinnacle Nissan tell me that I could go to ANY NISSAN DEALERSHIP for my service check and that they do three courtesy checks for new car buyers when I asked at the time of signing the contract. I live in Goodyear I am @ 5191 miles I should not have to drive out to Scottsdale! I’m pissed cause they’ve told lies that never followed through. I was told that I had to trade in my car there since they were the only ones who had my info I just think it’s *** with my payments and my location I do not have the extra time and money to make that trip not to mention a four year old whom would have to wait with me. I need the maintenance now and good customer service would be to honor what I was told : 3 free courtesy maintenance checks and honor it at any Nissan delearship it’s really not that hard. I’m about ready to sell this thing and never deal with this place again ! Plus last time I had my versa checked out back in April 2017 they gave me paperwork saying it was a rogue? Like common ?

Bait and Switch

Drive miles to buy new Nissan Rogue after telling Pinnacle price and their agreeing to beat it by $500. When I got to Pinnacle they would not honor their price. They lie as part of their business practice Shame on them and buyer beware. They flat out lied and would not sell the Nissan evev for the same price. I would give you the lying salesman's name but I think he was the rule rather than the exception

Beware of fake charges!

Pinnacle Nissan in North Scottsdale is a money hungry scheming repair shop that will gauge each person to see how much money they can milk out of him or her. My son was told he needs to pay $130 on top of standard oil change price for the mechanic to call and get a code from interlock company for his oil change. My son offered to call and ask them to give the mechanic the code but Pinnacle Nissan refused, insisting he would need to pay $130 regardless. My son felt something was fishy and left without getting his scheduled oil change and the recall they had offered to take care of for free but they did not do either, wasting several hours of his precious time and putting his safety at risk by not doing the recall. When he told me about this, I was appalled and called the interlock company who said they have never heard of anything like this and advised me to call another oil change service provider. I then called Pinnacle Nissan and Anthony repeated the $130 charge and said I should speak to a manager since he has no authority. I told him I did not want to speak to any managers since the managers should have resolved the issue while my son was there. He repeated the $130 charge and that he had no authority. I told him then if he has no authority he shouldn't be answering the phone. I also told him I was going to put a survey with his name on it. He got very defensive and said he had nothing to do with it. Yeah, right. He tried to extort $130 just like the one who dealt with my son and they all sent him off without taking care of the recall on his car: Brazen lack of care for customer safety. I told Anthony Pinnacle Nissan sends us all these coupons, calls for trade ins and we have been long time customers and this is how they treat us? I will be reporting Pinnacle Nissan to Better Business Bureau so they stop slapping exorbitant unfounded charges on unsuspecting customers and comply with recalls, not just refuse to take care of a recall because they can't charge the customer! In the meantime I called Cobble Stone Auto on north Pima road and asked how much they charge for interlock code. They said they do not charge anything!!!!!! Shame on you Pinnacle Nissan!

Hold on my key. I called 4 times. Either hang my phone calls, or complain back to systematic failed, or never call me back. Too much lies. I hope they did the plate registration as they should be. Every sale services act like *** Not acts even professional services. No communications at all. Delay a lot of works. Every sale services there makes me very angry. Definition no good impression of Pinnacle Nissan. Would not recommend any of my good friends to have car deal. Feel deceived and taken advantage of.
